Tis' the Season of Plaid

Haven't been feeling well the last few days, and I am heading to the Doctor today to see if everything is alright. Fingers crossed.

On a brighter note, the Fall weather has been amazing. I am loving the 60 degree days and the fact that I can wear sweaters and jeans again. This is my favorite time of year, whats yours?

Danish Dinner

New Shoes, (You'll notice the additional few photos).
I have yet to wear them outside, but I will be in just a few minutes, so far I definitely recommend these. They were uber-well priced & look much more fancy then what I paid.

Enjoy :)

Greys Anatomy

I know this has nothing to do with the purpose of my blog, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Grey's Anatomy. I cannot say it enough. The characters are dynamic, the plot lines have meaning, there are enough characters that we can toggle between them and not need to see each one on each episode. Most definitely one of the best TV shows of all time.

New Boots

I know I shouldn't have, but they were just so cute, and both were on sale!

I would like to comment that I love these boots for many reasons. The 'riding boots': I have been drooling over riding boots for years now and I have never gone out and purchased a pair, I always think they are too expensive or there is something that is just a little 'off'. These however (online at least) look amazing, riding boots with a slight edge and an almost motorcycle feel in the black color. All leather, nice height, small heel, can you see the drool coming out of my mouth.
As for the 'desert boots' I have been eyeing these puppies for a few months but couldn't bring myself to pay alot of money for them as I am not sure how they are going to look on me. When I am first trying out a 'trend' I like to purchase the 'cheap' version then if I like it spend a little more on the good stuff. I have been seeing these everywhere in NYC and cannot wait until they arrive.

I'm expecting them both Monday :)
Stay Tuned for their review...

'For Sale Section'

I have a new 'For Sale' section to my blog.
For now there is nothing too spectacular located in this section but I am hoping as time goes on it is improved.

Pink Checkers

I'm running to work and only had a chance to shoot a few photos. Nothing special today just cords and a cardigan.

Morning Joe

First I must say that I love Sundays. Sunday is the day I do my shopping, chores, homework and I usually sleep in a little.
Today I also decided to try a new coffee shop that I hear so much about, Cafe Grumpy.
This coffee shop has 4 locations, however I went to the one on the Lower East Side near Essex and Hester. Definitely recommend.
As for my outfit, it is just something comfy to run around in and lounge.

This week I went for simple but cute.
The restaurant was great, In Vino in the East Village. Highly recommend

Summer Retro

A few days ago I was inspired by Kendi Everyday's 30 for 30 Remix, yesterday and today's outfits were both attempts at this. The basic gist of 30 for 30 Remix is that rather than buying new clothes you 'remix' clothes that you have and wear them in a 'different' way so that they feel new; and I would like to say so far so good. I've tried 2 new outfits and I love them both :). I think this was a great idea and I am going to continue trying this as I am trying to save money for a vacation and cannot spend money right now, so this idea was just wonderful to find.

Here is my attempt #2, what do you think?
(The last 2 photos are other attempts at the same outfit)

60's Esq.

Today is a quick post, I was running out of the house on my way to work and snapped a few shots.
The weather today was uber-weird, we had sun, rain, thunder, lighting, wind, followed by more sun.
Crazy weather.
