Greys Anatomy

I know this has nothing to do with the purpose of my blog, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Grey's Anatomy. I cannot say it enough. The characters are dynamic, the plot lines have meaning, there are enough characters that we can toggle between them and not need to see each one on each episode. Most definitely one of the best TV shows of all time.

New Boots

I know I shouldn't have, but they were just so cute, and both were on sale!

I would like to comment that I love these boots for many reasons. The 'riding boots': I have been drooling over riding boots for years now and I have never gone out and purchased a pair, I always think they are too expensive or there is something that is just a little 'off'. These however (online at least) look amazing, riding boots with a slight edge and an almost motorcycle feel in the black color. All leather, nice height, small heel, can you see the drool coming out of my mouth.
As for the 'desert boots' I have been eyeing these puppies for a few months but couldn't bring myself to pay alot of money for them as I am not sure how they are going to look on me. When I am first trying out a 'trend' I like to purchase the 'cheap' version then if I like it spend a little more on the good stuff. I have been seeing these everywhere in NYC and cannot wait until they arrive.

I'm expecting them both Monday :)

Morning Joe

First I must say that I love Sundays. Sunday is the day I do my shopping, chores, homework and I usually sleep in a little.
Today I also decided to try a new coffee shop that I hear so much about, Cafe Grumpy.
This coffee shop has 4 locations, however I went to the one on the Lower East Side near Essex and Hester. Definitely recommend.
As for my outfit, it is just something comfy to run around in and lounge.

Summer Retro

A few days ago I was inspired by Kendi Everyday's 30 for 30 Remix, yesterday and today's outfits were both attempts at this. The basic gist of 30 for 30 Remix is that rather than buying new clothes you 'remix' clothes that you have and wear them in a 'different' way so that they feel new; and I would like to say so far so good. I've tried 2 new outfits and I love them both :). I think this was a great idea and I am going to continue trying this as I am trying to save money for a vacation and cannot spend money right now, so this idea was just wonderful to find.

I recently joined Guilt Group and didn't see what was so great about it, until today.
I was browsing the website, aka avoiding my homework, when I came upon some Elle Tahari coats, and I found this beauty, on sale for 65% off!!!
I consulted with my momma and she said go for it so I did.
Hope it works out and fits right :)

Its that time again, date night.
This was the outfit I wore to Sunday Night's date night event. Boyfriend and I just went for burgers at our favorite local bar, Black Market, with the best bartender on the planet.
If this outfit looks a little like the previous post, thats because it is, it was another 'day to night' outfit but I didn't have time to post it same day.

Lazy Sunday

Going for coffee today with some friends.
This is my 'lazy day' outfit, as well as my new purse which arrived yesterday :).
I absolutely love it! Its the perfect size, perfect color, and in pretty decent condition.
I have been drooling over vintage Dooney and Bourke for awhile now and I finally got my own :)
