Making the Old New Again

Two years ago when I moved to NYC I had left many of my favorite clothing items at home, over the years my mother has been so kind as to ship them to me when I request a specific item, and last week was another one of those occasions.
Last week momma sent me 2 pairs of boots and my jacket, all from about 2005-06. Its funny whenever I get another box it feels like something brand new (and in a way I suppose it is since its been over 2 years since I've warn the items). But I just love it! Getting new stuff for only the price of shipping :)

Atlantic-Pacific Admiration

I am going to be a little MIA the next 2 weeks as I just scheduled my GRE test date and will be cracking down until that time. No fun for me until after the test, but it will pay off I am certain of it.

Today I am lounging around the house writing a paper on Education Politics for class, but before I got started I thought I would update myself on politics and blogs I follow. So today I decided to test out a new feature and put up a photo of my favorite blogger outfit from over the weekend.

I have only been following this blog for a few weeks but it is easily one of my new favorites. She mixes things so well and looks flawless. This look is bright, which I usually don't go for, but she pulls it off so well. And I just love the sweater.

Today I went to a lovely brunch with my lovely boyfriend, even though I couldn't eat much I just love the time we can spend together :)

Feel like a Dinosaur, Rawr!

Today I decided to try out a new hair style.
I french braided the top, and underneath of my bun and then made a fluffy messy bun.
From the side it reminds me of a dinosaur. :)
I think I am in love!

As for my accessories, I tried layering multiple watches which I got from StyleScrapbook.

Mink

A few weeks ago I blogged about a jacket I had purchased on Guilt Group.
It is a Tahari Jacket, in Mink, with removable fau-fur trim, with military flaire.

Haven't been feeling well the last few days, and I am heading to the Doctor today to see if everything is alright. Fingers crossed.

On a brighter note, the Fall weather has been amazing. I am loving the 60 degree days and the fact that I can wear sweaters and jeans again. This is my favorite time of year, whats yours?
